I always thought protesters should wear jeans or tan tactical pants, boots, vest and plate ($35-50 from Amazon), a tacticool utility belt ($20-30 from amazon), helmet ($30 from amazon) a black Balaclava Ski Mask ($6), with sunglasses. On the right chest have a random ID number like “A462”. Slap an American flag patch (or a Police gang patch with the blue line).

You could even throw in a functional gas mask for $50

These ICE creeps don’t have a proper issued uniform. They bought their shit off amazon as well. I saw one dude who looked like he was wearing airsoft/paintball stuff.

Can you imagine the confusion if everyone dressed in tacticool? Those untrained ICE idiots would be completely lost.

Wow, I have not seen a church of the sub genius reference in almost 20 years.

Well, that’s probably just part of the Pink Conspiracy. They’ve been stealing your slack.

They just had a cool doc about them come out not that long ago. Sadly, the podcast/Hour of Slack has come to an end:

          https://archive.org/details/hourofslack

The Hour of Slack was produced weekly since 1985 by REV. IVAN STANG (PO Box 807, Glen Rose, Texas, 76043, USA) – more years than Johnny Carson or David Letterman were on the air. The show was discontinued in June, 2022; host Rev. Stang simply got burned out after 37 years of weekly shows. His hearing loss wasn’t helping either.

      Yup.

It would be VERY easy to infiltrate them while they’re out in the field. Just surround them with people looking just like them. They’d have no option but to retreat.

And do this on Halloween so they can’t arrest you for impersonating an officer either! #lifeHacks

      Sorry 🤭

EDIT: Oh, wait… no, wait a minute… does the fact that they don’t have an officially issued uniform really mean that technically you could argue in court that you were not impersonating an officer? That. Is. Wildly stupid of them if true.

As long as you had nothing on your “uniform” that said Police or had a badge of any sort, they would be hard pressed to charge you with anything. If they nabbed you, and you weren’t black bagged to a blackzone and disappeared, you could always say you arrived to protest wearing a helmet, plate carrier, gas mask because of the documented law enforcement violence towards citizens. The pouches and utility belt could contain things like first aid supplies.

      Plausible deniability.

Reports of a masked ICE Agent murdering an individual filming an ICE raid, then fleeing the scene. “That wasn’t an actual ICE agent. Don’t worry, it’s… ‘under investigation’ and we’ll never release any information about the incident ever again.”

This just tells me that the “real” ICE agents, are doing criminal stuff and the FBI are just getting in front of that. What did they think would happen when you give the otherwise unemployable a badge and a gun, and empower them?

DHS has argued that agents still identify themselves while masked: “When our heroic law enforcement officers conduct operations, they clearly identify themselves as law enforcement while wearing masks to protect themselves from being targeted by highly sophisticated gangs like Tren de Aragua and MS-13, criminal rings, murderers, and rapists,” assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a September statement.

If this were true, every judge, police officer and prosecutor would be dead. So no, they do not need to hide their faces. We all know why they are really hiding their faces.

    Release the files.

Well, they’re scared, but also the admin doesn’t want the identities to be revealed and shown that like 90% of ICE was probably recruited straight from known neo-nazi/white nationalist groups like the Proud Boys

its because ice isnt targeting backwaters red areas, or states. MAGATS wouldve started shooting the moment they tried it, plus the gop would get upset over ice.

The FBI only put a bulletin warning that masked individuals might be pretending to be government agents, just now? After nine months of terrorism? How is this not seen as authoritarian move? This is like with any full blown authoritarian states where the dear leader says something vague tantamount to directing a purge. And when enough people were purged, the dear leader would then say that his goons had gone too far from his original intent and order them to stop. This is not the first time America did something similar; the red scare and the McCarthy’s communist witch hunts went on long enough to tarnish people’s reputation, before Harry Truman made a speech calling out what is happening as unfair to people whose reputations were ruined. The powers-that-be know what the heck their doing and the last minute “call to sanity” is to white wash their deliberate intentions.

At this rate someone’s going to feel legally justified to defend themselves and others with lethal force from potential criminals.

If so, you should never post about it online. That’s the kind of thing that jury selection software is meant to find

Honestly, the jury selection process is stupid. It depends on people to either live under a rock, or to lie about their character. Our jurors should be informed on the world and have opinions. Fairness achieved through witless conformity is justice by committee.

If we want better trials, getting rid of one-sided testimonials like the grand jury process, would be a much better way. It is weird how prosecutors get to put forward only their viewpoint, while the defense can’t. Randomly splitting the jury in half to listen to the defense and prosecution’s argument, then having each half hear the other side’s story, would be a better approach IMO. That removes the first-mover advantage to story telling. Also, a 20 minute snack and drink break for each session, to remove grouchiness as a factor.

That is the problem. If they kill a criminal it will be considered self defense. If they kill an agent, it will not

Also, if they are ice and they use lethal force, ice will use lethal force too and argue it was self defense
