It’s a first world country that’s been left to decay for a out 50 years at this point while also being balls deep in about 5 disasters that could cause total imperial collapse. You ever see pictures of rural Soviet villages that were clearly still primitive but improving slowly back in the post WW2 reconstruction period and then you see a picture of that same village and it’s somehow gotten worse?
