Iran will keep it closed until after the elections. They understand exactly how poisonous this is to Trump, and how it will affect MAGA in the election. Keeping the Strait closed hurts Trump and MAGA more than all the missiles in their arsenal, and they have to do almost nothing to maintain it for as long as they feel like it.

If Trump tries to throw a few missiles, they’ll just retaliate by bombing our shitty friends (but not Saudi Arabia, never the Saudis), who will then get madder at US.

So Obama merely released Iran’s own monetary assets in American banks that we had frozen, which Trump attacked relentlessly, as recently as last week, but now he’s going to PAY them to repair the damage HE caused?

He won’t be able to rationalize these concessions, so once again he will kill the deal, and blame Biden.

This was a classic real estate developer kickback scheme. Trump hires his special guy to do the job. The guy does it for 50% of the budget, including his profit, and the rest is kicked back to Trump.

Of course, when it actually got into production, he jacked the overrun way up, so he could skim even more.

He was going to do the same thing with the Kennedy Center renovation, but they stopped that one. He’ll do the same with his arch, and the ballroom.

The old classics still work, and this kind of classic, old school kickback scheme has been Trump’s bread & butter for his entire life. That’s why he’s doing all these cockamamie construction projects. This is his wheelhouse, and he is in it.

These people are the ones who peaked in Middle School. Normally they settle into jobs where they make everyone around them miserable, but these dipshits hit the societal lottery, and accidentally got tossed on top of the heap of stupid.

A parody is usually the same melody, but different lyrics. If I wrote the melody and lyrics, and you change just the lyrics, I would still get partial songwriting credit for that melody, and partial songwriting royalties.

Weird Al would still get full royalties for the performance part, but he would split the songwriting royalties with the original composer.

That’s why artists don’t mind Weird Al using their songs, because they make money. They like the validation, too, but they aren’t giving away their royalties to him so willingly for validation alone.

His tires keep getting leaks, because nails keep showing up in his driveway. His car keeps getting keyed. Somebody turned the hose on at his house, and it ran for three days, flooding his backyard, and running his bill up a couple of hundred dollars. Somebody poured gasoline on his lawn spelling “FLOCK?” Rumors have been spreading about extramarital affairs, his AND his wife’s. Online reviews for his business have cratered.

Maybe he’ll feel like talking at the next county meeting.

I mentioned in another post that I knew an underage girl who got hers at “tattoo parties,” where a guy comes and tats everybody, no questions asked. I have no idea who arranged it, or what the deal was. You now know everything I know about it, except I know this person very well, and knew her when she was underage and got her tats, so I fully believe her. She just said “Yeah, we had a party, and a guy came and gave tats to anyone who wanted one.”

Hers were really nice, very professional looking.

I’ve known plenty of underage girls with tattoos. One told me that she got hers at parties where a bunch of kids got together and paid a pro to come to the house and give them all tats. I know for a fact that she wasn’t a rich kid, so it must not have cost that much. Her tats were nice too, not like it was some amateur experimenting on minors.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia’a underlying crime is “human trafficking,” which makes him sound like a bad guy. The “crime” stems from a traffic stop, where he was driving a company van full of construction workers to the worksite, and when he was found to be undocumented, his driving responsibilities were re-characterized as “human trafficking.”

And that has been MAGA’s rationalization for sending him to CECOT, and hounding him ever since. He was an employee valued enough to be given the responsibility of driving a company vehicle full of other employees, but that’s not enough to protect him from this kind of MAGA bullying.

And what’s worse, is that he became the lightning rod to represent the whole situation, but there were hundreds of others who were more or less just like him. They weren’t gang members, human traffickers, etc., they were just undocumented. And for that “crime,” they are serving life sentences in a torture prison, as we debate how unfair it is for Garcia. I’m sure that will make them all feel much better about their endless MAGA nightmare.

Don’t give them credit for anything. They intended to keep all their money, and stiff the MAGA dummies. Then it hit the media in a big way, and they decided to get it done ASAP.

So they found a manufacturer that had enough inventory to fulfill the orders, and went with them. Under those circumstances it would almost certainly be a fairly recent model. Ten year old phones might not even have manufacturer support. The fact that they had so many hanging around means this model was probably a dog.

This is why we have to control the national educational curriculum on a national basis, and not allow backwards states to destroy the lives of their citizens by keeping them ignorant, just so they can control and exploit them. If they won’t properly take care of the intellectual well-being of their own citizens, then we will.
