O’Keefe was charged alongside fellow influencer Cam Higby after they allegedly misrepresented themselves at polling places during Minnesota’s primary in August.
A Minnesota prosecutor on Wednesday charged conservative provocateur James O’Keefe and influencer Cam Higby with felony counts of unlawful voting and identity theft after they misrepresented themselves at polling places in August using the names of registered voters.
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, who announced the charges at a news conference, accused the pair of entering polling places during state primary election voting on Aug. 11 and identifying themselves using names of registered voters in those precincts without those voters’ knowledge or permission.
“Both men stopped short of signing the oath we all sign before receiving our ballot,” she said. “But Minnesota law states clearly that no individual shall intentionally misrepresent their identity in applying for a ballot.”
Conservatives: Progressives are cheating. We’ll cheat like they do!
It’s long past time for these slugs to spend some significant time in prison for their attempted frauds. 5 years sounds about right.
They were performing checks an unbalances.
The cherry on top will be when he starts begging for a pardon and Trump DGAF about him.
It’s a state charge, so Trump can’t pardon him if he wanted to anyway.
Every accusation is a confession I suppose
I mean trump did tell them to cheat in this election
Cant wait to see that being used as evidence in court
What a hilariously stupid way to fuck up your life. Well done, dickheads.
Just gonna leave this here…

Statistically, this million dollar payout would be the easiest to get for reporting republicans, but why anyone would believe that Trump would actually pay is beyond me.
Not a chance. I’m just curious to see if he’s going to:
a) give some pretext as a cop-out
b) straight up exclude republican convictions
c) deny he ever said it in the first place
The guy that lies all the time and never pays anyone says he going to pay you? Good luck with that
It is interesting, if you do something bad yourself, it is extremely easy to project your own behavior onto your oppononent, you can also dismiss any lack of evidence that your opponent actually did the bad thing because they are better at hiding it.
Except for when there’s proof and it’s as predictable as this.
Sadly, this guy seems to just keep getting away with all his stupid shit. Maybe this time he’ll get more that a pittance of a fine and probation, but it’s clear that he is some powerful person’s useful idiot and he’ll just get another slap on the wrist.
He’s been involved in a number of previous frauds. I doubt the judge is going to treat this like a first offense.
Were they only caught because they posted a video? If so, maybe it proves their point that the vouching system is a bad idea. It kind of sounds like a bad idea.
