Meanwhile, dozens were injured by Iranian strikes in Israel, as Tehran targeted a nuclear site.

Donald Trump threatened Iran in a Truth Social post Saturday evening, warning that the U.S. would target the nation’s power plants if the Strait of Hormuz remained closed.

“If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!” Trump wrote in the post.

Approximately 20% of the world’s oil passes through the the Strait of Hormuz, a critical trade route. Iranian attacks on ships in the area have seen the area essentially close to maritime traffic, while oil prices have soared globally.

“obliterate”, like how he “obliterated” the Iranian’s nuclear capabilities last June?

So I should expect they’ll be producing at full capacity again in 8 months then? Is that how this works?

Many people here will accuse the United States of using Israeli tactics and of trying to pull a Gaza on Iran. That’s not true.

This time, they’re taking a page from the Russian playbook by targeting civilian infrastructure in an attempt to do collective punishment. We can see how much success these tactics have had in the past, and somehow are to believe that it will be different this time.

Russia Russia Russia. JFC. The “Russian playbook” while the US had 500000 dead under its belt just in Iraq during the comic book episode of “WMD” and Albright saying it was worth it? On nighttime news? Not in private.

But Russia’s the problem. Doing nothing even close to what you claim. Meanwhile Israel just needs to say “tunnel” and oops everything’s a legit target, a target of weapons you supply.

Can I get a MRI of your brain? I’ve always wanted to see a single proton in a vacuum.

Often it is the case (and documented) that Hamas deliberately used hospitals and residential buildings to shoot from, or for other military purposes. In that case, by the laws of war, Israel is actually allowed to level those buildings - and Hamas are the ones who committed a war crime. A fact that often seems utterly lost in social media posts. Often in war, a party will retreat from or surrender a city, rather than shoot from the buildings, if the defending party is not a death cult.

Power plants can be military targets, and as such valid to bomb. But… Trump has pretty much stated here that he is bombing them as terror against civilians, which is a war crime. So Trump is arguably behaving worse than Israel.

So like for probably me and you, it was our grand fathers and great grandfather’s that put forth the rules of war in WW1 and WW2.

For Trump it was his dad. He’s not even that removed, he was born 3 years before the Geneva convention was ratified. When “War Crimes” actually became a thing…

Purely speculation, but given the fact he has never had respect of law, I think him and his cabal would have been against the idea of creating war crimes in 1949… So for him its just a long line of ignoring inconvenient “woke” bullcrap.

Neither do Puerto Ricans, Guamanians, American Samoans, or Virgin Islanders. Congressional representation is a bad joke, and the house hasn’t expanded seats since 1910 which greatly privileges representation for smaller population states. Gerrymandering is just a splash in the pot compared to how rigged they have the legislature.

Native Americans can vote in state and national elections and are supposed to be represented in Congress by the senators and representative of the state they live in, but they are not represented directly by a native with equal standing and their land and rights are usually not a priority for their legislators or states they live in.

They give us entertainment and lifestyles that are planned, focus grouped, and created to psychologically make us disassociate from the reality of humanity.

It’s not even a conspiracy anymore. And when I say they I mean the corrupt class and the American dreamers that think because they are attaining success from a taught career that makes them somehow believe they are on the right side of history.

I swear to god Americans aren’t even human anymore. They are cattle, products and consumers. They are the equivalent of the people fent bending on the sidewalk except they are culturally accepted. It doesn’t matter if you have success here… You could be a celebrity, chief of police, a family dad, a politician… It doesn’t equal being someone worth respecting or that they are a good person. I can’t stop seeing American success as an illusion to keep people as cattle or working cattle… The real wealthy get to use them all because it’s like the nation is just a service. We get sold to the highest bidder. America is a service. This isn’t freedom or democracy. Our freedom is a like a fake free-range farm system. And it’s getting even more evil as they start implementing Ai…

We are getting kettled. On a national scale.

Maybe not equally but they will need to take a good chunk of responsibility for this.

Americans saw his first term, his attempts to bomb Iran were thwarted back then.

Americans watched as he tried to steal the 2020 election.

Americans and democrats had 4 years to punish him for this.

What did Americans do? They gave him an even bigger mandate in 2024.

Assuming the 2024 election was valid, this is an American-wide problem. You’ve all got to own this and you’ve all got to be the ones to do something about it.

Shit does burn after it dries. Or after held in anaerobic conditions it produces methane. So the analogy still kind of works.

That said, plato catalogued greek republics and noticed a pattern they all followed, and all have since, it’s just a matter of time. A monarch is overthrown and a republic instituted. That republic in time decays through stages of oligarcic repression, although he breaks it down into specific stages, and in time, a true leader emerges, and rallies the people, and lays waste to the oligarchy, and becomes a sort of king again, which in time decays and a republic overthrows them and starts the cycle anew.

At a point, destroying the oligarchy is worth any cost. We are at that point. The current president is not caesar, but sulla, another stage of oligarchic repression, until a real leader emerges to lay waste to the oligarchy. The time is nigh, and epstein is the key.

        We did this.

Trump is the inevitable result of liberals spending all their energy opposing progressives and cooperating with fascists.

The portion of the adult American population that remains blameless is vanishingly small.

We decided at some point to stop enforcing laws on rich people and the whole world is paying the consequence for that. We are mostly the source of most of the aggression on most of the planet, I don’t know about you but I’m old enough to say it’s been 40 years of this shit to my recollection.

          We did this.

Speak for yourself. I voted Green.

Trump is the inevitable result of liberals spending all their energy opposing progressives and cooperating with fascists.

That’s a salient point, but the ‘we’ you’re pointing to isn’t a part of this. Billionaires and the Epstein Class are who the finger should be pointing at. Voters only have any real power at the local level, unless you’re planning to follow in the footsteps of Player 2.

We decided at some point to stop enforcing laws on rich people

Again, I’d argue there’s no we here. The only power you or I have is in our local neighborhood, and in mine, we’re doing good things. Hell, my city was one of the few to put a killer cop behind bars. (And in the US, you can count on your fingers the number of killer cops who’ve spent any time in prison.)

Depends where he lives. I always vote third party, but every district I am in is gerrymandered, and my state is not within 10 points of competitive for president, so my votes do not matter other than getting third parties on the ballot.

Jill Stein is a Russian asset and anyone who supported the green party in 2024 is a cuck who got trump elected. Even if your vote didn’t matter, you contributed to the dialogue and publicity they got for their blatant effort to split the vote. We shouldn’t have only 2 parties, but in the current system voting 3rd party is performative at best and genuinely dangerous at worst.

          Simple.

          The billionaires decide.

You can blame the whole of the US population if you like, but voters here only have any power on the local level. National elections are wholly driven and decided by the billionaire class (which is why you saw both Democrats and Republicans fight so hard against Mamdani), so to me, it’s a tad absurd to pretend that the people as a whole support this. That’s even more true when you look at the 2025 and 2026 elections (so far), where nearly all of the candidates backed by Donald have lost, regardless of the state, and most in districts Donald won by double digits in 2024. (Demonstrating that people do not support the war in Iran or the pedophile coverup.)

Hell, Donald can’t even gerrymander anymore, because the Republican Party can’t accurately project where they have voter strength. That is the incredible extent to which people are opposed to this.

And you make yourself sound ignorant by pretending otherwise in the face of all of these facts.

The downside is that, since the Epstein Class controls politics at the national level, the opposition party doesn’t really oppose anything, but there are a few candidates with some strength that could do some limited good, like Graham Platner.

We obliterate nuclear enrichment sites so hard they come back online mere weeks later. No one obliterates like us.
