People are supporting economic boycotts to show discontent with businesses capitulating to Trump’s agenda

It’s the busiest shopping season of the year – and a time when many are trying to figure out where to ethically spend their money.

Over the first year of Trump’s second term, companies and institutions have fallen in line with the administration’s anti-DEI and anti-immigration policies. As a result, people are supporting economic boycotts to show their discontent with the businesses capitulating to the president.

Over the Black Friday weekend, the groups behind the No Kings protests – the largest days of mass protest in recent memory – put their weight behind a campaign called We Ain’t Buying It, calling on people to not shop at Target, Home Depot and Amazon during the marquee week of holiday deals.

You really have some paranoia if you think that’s how the world works. Live a little. Next time buy organic vegetables at self checkout but weight them as non organic. You’ll feel a rush. It’s called the “I’m a cashier” tax.

Working class have to fight back against the inflated prices somehow.

I served on a grand jury, and this is how a number of cases ended up in front of me. At least in my corner of the world, it is how it works.

Well, shame on you if you voted to indict petty crime done to a corporation. You take Grandma’s house away for not paying her medical bills too?

I didn’t say whether I indicted or not. I’m saying that just because you think you’re getting away with it, it doesn’t mean you actually are.

Weird how you didn’t answer if you did vote to indict. So, that gives me the answer. Even in your (likely made up) story you’ve made yourself an asshole.

Yep. You definitely voted to indict people for petty theft from a corporation.

If you read what I wrote again, you’ll see that no petty theft was brought before us. They waited until substantially more than that was stolen before they brought the person in. That was me warning you that might not be able to keep up what you’re doing, if your county works like mine does.

No, I read it right. You’re just justifying the fact that you were a stooge for a corporation that (1) replaced workers with self checkout machines knowing it would increase petty theft and (2) are using AI and video surveillance to track individual customers that didn’t scan their items correctly and then (3) waiting until customers hit an amount of petty theft to charge them with a higher crime.

Then, you, the citizen that is supposed to be deciding if this should be a felony offense, decided to fuck over some individual even more than they already are getting fucked over by a corporation already. Like, you proudly said that YOU indicted people for that. Like, do you not see the problem here? You, you are the problem. Just a total traitor to your class.

Do you tell on Mom’s that steal baby formula too?
