Christians in the south of the state seek to vote their values – but a common faith does not mean a common politics
Its not their faith that’s dividing them, its their guide:
He also holds views that place him squarely in the country’s culture wars. He believes that people like him – white Christian heterosexual men – have become targets.
“People need someone to blame,” he continued. “I think the ire is towards white Christian males. Now, they want to call them white Christian nationalists. But being white and Christian is actually, if you’re truly a Christian, a wonderful thing for society.”
Let’s put a finer point on it:
Yes, white Nationalist Christian heterosexual men (and women) have made themselves targets by being massive hypocrites and religious extremists.
Nobody outside of any given religious extremist group tends to actually like said religious extremist group. Their beliefs are tuned to actively exclude and persecute people who aren’t in their group, and it is comically ironic to hear people from those groups whinge about intolerance, when intolerance is a foundational element of their beliefs. They are targets because of their religious extremism, much like Salafism/Wahhabism is for Islam, or Zionism/Israeli Nationalism is for Judaism.
I nearly choked on the word wonderful.
I think by society, he means himself. They might actually mean essentially the same thing to him.
I just see this cunt

It’s so weak that they’re saying that in terms of “the less minorities we see the more wonderful it would be”, meanwhile they’re the same types of people who brought the slaves here against their will, the same types that employ undocumented workers to be able to treat them worse and pay them less, and the same types to go other places in the world and complain about how it’s not their white “Christian” utopia back home, it just shows how deeply insecure and weak they are.
Lesser men
“Waaah im a Nazi and people don’t want to enable me!” 😭😭😭
‘I don’t think the US is God’s kingdom on Earth’
I can’t even express how insane the notion of even discussing if “the US is God’s kingdom on Earth” is a true statement looks to anyone outside of the US (and probably a lot of people inside, too)
I like to remind “Christians”, there is only one type of Christian in The US and its Protestant.
