Republican voters have showed us time and time again that they don’t care.
The party of family values, law and order, small government, fiscal responsibility… It’s all clearly complete bullshit, and yet they still fervently support it.
Reality means nothing to them as long as they’ll have their narrative.
I think they meant that suddenly, Republicans will be up in arms about everything they themselves didn’t correct when they had absolute power. It’s the other guys’ fault to them.
Adults will have to hike rates indefinitely to fix all this bullshit and they’ll just spin the blame dems narrative only to blowup the deficit and economy at-large all over again — Rinse & repeat. Behold the credit/business cycle Kuznets swing.
If someone votes based on their values, they are unlikely to remain in the MAGA cult since Trump flip flops constantly. The low propensity voters that enjoy the vibes of making libs cry seem to make up the base.
