Lots of jokes in here for someone who lost their life unexpectedly and violently during a day out with their family.

Six flags at half mast. That’s a total of three flags day.

Officials did not confirm how the person died

Apparently he fell out of the roller coaster.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/six-flags-georgia-death-guests-say-man-fell-roller-coaster-rcna603097

Preliminary findings from witness and employee interviews indicate that Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem was “ejected from the ride and struck other patrons before falling beneath the attraction.”

He was actually fine after falling out. The sudden stop is what got him.

Witnesses say that a man was ejected from his car and fell, striking either the car or parts of the ride structure at least three times on the way down.

Another car that was not the accident car halted on an incline tow, and riders were evacuated down the stairs.

Witnesses say that attendants checked the harnesses on the accident car before dispatch.

They haven’t released what specifically happened.

It is weird that I was just reading about Fabio’s incident at Busch Gardens this afternoon.

The fact that they stopped roller coasters of similar design at other parks means that there is a possibility of a fundamental design flaw of the tracks and/or cars.

Someone else is saying that someone was ejected from a car and may have struck another car on the way down. That would align with the one death and others injured, and indicate a possible design flaw in the safety harness system. Maybe the primary and redundant harnesses failed through a design flaw. Maybe the rider/operator(s) misapplied the restraints and the operator(s) failed to catch the mistake. Either way, mechanical or process failure, means that their safety system needs to be reworked and/or more stringently applied. It takes multiple failures for something like an ejection to happen.

Even without a known, fundamental flaw, it’s very prudent to halt any ride with a similar design.

If another injury or fatality happened before they investigated, all hell would break loose.

I don’t post much, just comments and I don’t think we’ve talked before?

He started off amazing and still managed to get better. Every new video is my favorite.
