No because I can tell you the difference between a brick and a stone, I’m just asking if I can hit you with a couple pieces of cardboard. Or maybe just interest you in some basic engineering?
We also use sheet wood in Europe frequently, so we’re very familiar with it. We just don’t use it for our outer walls and load bearing parts of a structure.

It was obviously hyperbole. When it comes to soundproofing, sheet wood is about as effective as cardboard, though.
Probably even worse; cardboard (like used for boxes) has a lot of air pockets in it, whereas a ‘solid’ wooden board probably adds resonance.
I see there are still no signs of intelligent life in the good ol’ US of A.
