The man’s family identified him as Edgar Cabrera Gomez. They refute the claims that Gomez was the driver.
“He said he was not driving and the only reason why he was injured is that the ICE agents themselves had run him over while he was running,” a family member said.
Dougherty County authorities said ICE agents are still looking for the other two people who were in the van.
