There was a season of ‘24’ where the President was the baddie and that guy was a better president than Trump.
Lex Luthor was a better President.
Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho was (will be?) a better president.
Camacho wanted to make things better for the people.
New York writer Fran Leibowitz put it this way.

What’s even more fucked up is he was “convicted” but served out his “sentence” on a palatial ranch somewhere in pure comfort until his batty wife, whom he never gave a shit about, stabs him in the neck for being a criminal traitor
If you go back to the Nixon pardon you’ll see that even hard-core Nixon haters like Hunter Thompson were not seething over the President dodging jail.
The feeling was that humiliation was punishment enough.
