Lyft and Uber drivers protested Waymo’s self-driving taxis in San Francisco. They urged state regulators to increase oversight of autonomous vehicles after incidents where the cars killed pets and blocked traffic.

First thing I learned is that there’s a gig workers union, so join that if you’re a gig worker.

Second thing I learned is something I already suspected, even the current “best” self-driving cars are shit. If you have the opportunity to use one of them, just don’t.
