Europeans aren’t a race, and absolutely deserve any and all criticisms possible regarding their several-century-long project of brutality known as ‘colonialism’.
It’s okay to acknowledge the sins of the past, to ask specific nations for reparations.
It’s not okay to call an entire group of people based on ethnic and regional origins an invasive pest. That’s the same bullshit as MAGAts mad at China harassing anyone and everyone Asian.
Depends on how you want take it… I don’t believe the commenters refer really to people, they might be more like targeting Institutions (e.g. British Museum)… It all depends on the sensibility of the reader (like many arguments on the Internet)
It’s about colonialism.
