Pretty close. They went for Devuan, a fascist-run distro, because it doesn’t have systemd. They went for XLibre, a fascist-run, vibe-coded xorg fork, because it’s not Wayland. Now they are trying to bring their garbage-ridden project to Void for…some reason.

It is fully endorsed by Bryan Lunduke, a well known hard core right wing extremist who spouts Nazi talking points all the fucking time, and Devuan has embraced and welcomed that endorsement. Lunduke has called Devuan a champion of the “anti-woke, anti-Leftist community”. Given its core team proudly acknowledges and accepts that shitstain’s endorsement, what would you call it?
It’s a shame that a fascist aligned distro is sullying the Void name by attempting to re-base on it.

I didn’t say it was proof of anything, it’s a statement of fact and an answer to a question. PeppermintOS has aligned itself with Devuan and XLibre. If you feel that is not factual, read the linked article as well as PeppermintOS’s website where they explicitly state they are associated with Devuan as an alternative base.
