The parents of a 3-year-old Detroit-area boy who had a loaded gun in his backpack at a daycare were charged with misdemeanor crimes Thursday as prosecutors also revealed the firearm was passed to other kids before a staff member intervened.

The gun was not fired and no one was injured.

“It is very unsettling to think about what may have happened in this case,” Wayne County prosecutor Kym Worthy said.

One parent was charged with violating Michigan’s gun storage law, while the other parent, a Detroit-area police officer, was charged with creating a risk of harm, which is fourth-degree child abuse. They appeared in court and were released on bond.

One of the biggest delusions of the gun-brained is the idea that gun accidents are “personal responsibility” and a simple matter of choices made by those involved. The truth is that there are too many guns and guns are dangerous and stuff like toddlers and dogs shooting people is just a mathematical eventuality.

Our country has chosen to be just as irresponsible with guns as these parents. Charlie Kirk was right to say that the 2nd costs innocent blood, I just disagree with him that it’s a good trade.

I’m sorry for whatever your English teacher did to you, but don’t make it my problem. You have to understand that well-adjusted adults don’t tremble in fear before the mighty red pen. English is a dirty slut and I can use her however I want, and there is nothing you can do about it you can’t do nothing about it.
