I truly feel for the translators who have to interpret his utterances. I read the English version and it’s like hearing a book report from a kid who just skimmed the cover and is dropping nouns they recognized in between completely unrelated but extremely rude, false, or narcissistic statements.

I’ve heard (anecdote only) that this accounts for some foreign countries believing he’s more well-spoken than reality. Translators, for the sake of clarity, might clean up much of the meandering. It’s difficult to convey poor English in a translation.

I’m multilingual myself and I really couldn’t imagine translating half of his sentences. And imagine doing it in a language where the word order is different so you’re caught waiting for the sentence to end but it just never does.
