Yeah, I was young and fell for the Obama Hope & Change rhetoric. So can you make the case that Trump also wanted to stop the wars(which he ran on), but the government(and Israel, but that’s another story) stopped him?

No, I’m saying the same way Obama said he’d stop wars, then congress(and whatever else, Pantagon, CIA, Israel, etc) stopped him from doing so, Trump the same way ran on stopping wars, and then congress(again, whatever else) changed his mind. Though, yes, it’s easier to change Trumps mind through the blackmail. Obama only had his banker chosen administration.

I find it more likely Trump lied in the first place about stopping wars, rather than other people egging him on

So does that mean Obama was controlled by my list of “whatever else” and started all those wars against his own volition, instead of being a representative of the American people? Cause I can’t quite figure out which is worse, and where Americans should go if voting for change in 2008 didn’t change anything the same way that voting for the same thing in 2016 didn’t change things either.
