    It’s scary to me, how fast USA turned from ”the land of freedom/opportunity” to an openly fascist state.

      50 years? That is the time it turned from, 1971 business roundtable made the first long term game plan project 2025 is the baby of.

      It has been fucked our entire lives getting worse.

        Sounds about right because that’s when wages stopped keeping up with inflation and wealth inequality began to rise dramatically.

      Was it fast though? Isn’t this what lots of people were talking about how fucked up the US was already but people choose to ignore because *murica first? It was pretty obvious to a lot of people it was a crap country already

        It is if you are a conservative, an unactive independent voter or a low information liberal voter. Those groups have a huge crossover of the media ecosystems they use with a lot of it being legacy TV media and FB.

      Its been fascist for over 300 years. Where do you think Hitler got all of his ideas from? Have you read Mein Kampf? The USA has always been fascists, why do you think operation paperclip happened?
