The Nintendo Switch had been placed in a gun safe located in the parents’ bedroom.

The parents adopted the boy in 2018, according to a report by the New York Post

I don’t know what to think.

The parents kept it in a gun safe. The key was hidden, and the boy found it. The boy also loaded the gun.

The parents were punishing the boy by taking away his console. The boy was also adopted.

Tragic. Because if the kid was willing to load the gun, he would also be willing to grab a knife, a hammer, anything else and just mindlessly attack the parents in an act of revenge.

Disagree. A gun makes it soo easy to kill someone. Accidentally even.

It is possible to stab somebody to death, or smother them, or bash their head with a hammer, or fill their room with carbon monoxide, or w/e, idk, but it is way harder to end their life without really knowing what you’re doing and going through an intensely physical act.

That depends. Stabbing/slashing with a knife can hit an artery much easier than a bullet. Many bullet wounds aren’t deadly with immediate medical attention. People survive shootings all the time.

Intent is the primary difference, regardless of the weapon used.
