Maybe something like “poster” or similar? I’m trying to think of a noun that describes what we do on these forums that’s devoid of gender indication (but still works as a singular noun/can be pluralized).
EDIT: oh yeah I forgot “netizen”, I try to use that as well when appropriate
I’ve gotten into the habit of using “user”, “lemming”, and “fedi-friend” as good generic pronouns :)
