They will still charge you with attempted murder and terrorism if you’re caught doing that, they’ve charged people worse for less. They have been detaining people and making up charges against even the most passive peaceful activists.

He had that tattoo for years after it was clear he knew what it meant, you really are going to trust someone is a good candidate that not only did several tours in Iraq but was hired by fucking Blackwater to continue killing because he stated he enjoyed it? Nobody is perfect but are you kidding me with this? You really are going to say this guy is awesome, who stated essentially “millions may die because our way of life is better”, had no problem with being a for-profit war criminal less than ten years ago, because he claims he has good views on healthcare. I agree people change but that doesn’t mean he should be trusted in a position of power.

They aren’t Nazis just for contrarianisms sake, a large portion of the right wing in the US is inspired by and wants to emulate the Nazis and agree with their racist worldview. A lot of the people trolling and posting ironic racist stuff were just being edgy at some point, but many of them do agree with the things and just troll/joke as a cover.

Police everywhere in the US have done it for a while, many people were beaten in 2020 by police wearing masks with their badge numbers covered, even in Democrat “sanctuary cities”. Not to mention DHS and BORTAC agents which have been detaining people with masks and no identification as well. People talk about defunding ICE which needs to happen but there are several agencies waging this campaign.

One of the foundational inspirations for modern white supremacists/right wingers is the book the Turner Diaries in which there is a day, the ‘Day of the Rope’, where the right wing has an outpouring of massacres against leftists, afterwards cementing their hold on the US as a fascist ethno-state. Several anti-government/racist terror attacks have explicitly had the goal of starting this.

The Trump administration is doing everything they can do inspire this, or to inspire a mass antifascist uprising so they can imprison their opposition. I believe they would fail at crushing a wide-spread insurgency though because most people don’t actually like Nazis, and average people are getting tired of this shit.
