Of all the reasons to debate Windows > Linux you chose UX. Windows UX sucks, whereas Linux can be just about anything you can image with a little effort.

1·7 days agoEven easier if you choose XFCE during install and then add i3. You get all the benefits of a package of desktop tools pre installed and the fantastic i3 window manager to get around.
Fedora Spins could be considered out of the box. Plenty of options.
Linux Mint “Debian” edition. There, fixed it for you 😉
I’d also recommend installing UTM on your Mac and paying string with different distros in a virtual environment.
I’d recommend Fedora KDE Plasma.
That may be your personal opinion, but I think you will find A LOT of people who will disagree with you!
