This is not a great idea. You cannot just flip a switch and make up a tipping culture. Countries that do tips have laws about them and how they are declared and distributed. I’m from Canada, but in my province if you tip at a restaurant, the tips are pooled for everybody working at the restaurant and then declared. In other places, that is not allowed and tips go straight to the pocket of the wait staff.
Don’t let this become a thing.

Managed to keep my indoor temp under 30 today here in Normandy. No AC. Not looking forward to the next few days.
