No, volunteering and protesting won’t destroy the system. You need a fight in many fronts. Reaching to people and building your community of dissidenta is key to that. You cannot have a revolution without solidarity.

Mayors are bastards sure, that’s a given. But it’s more important for the voters to realize they have power. they can pressure politicians. It ain’t easy, but it’s possible.

Absolutely! The bigger problem is the “centrist” politicians are useless. Almost all politicians are wealthy class, not rocking the boat is in their interests. Most of the time they are part of the problem. So everywhere we end with the choice between parasites who’d rather do nothing and just profit off whatever corruption they can get away with, or parasites who equally profit from the system but are also nazis.

True change can only come from a bottom up movement, masses make demands so politics give in. NGOs, unions, student movements etc are the way to get our rights. We want rights, benefits, we need to ask for it properly, with strikes, protests, soup kitchens, activism. Worshiping power just makes us more miserable.

Standard fascist playbook. They point to existing problems, and promise it’s the fault of immigrants/minorities etc.

Soviets did a lot to harm Eastern Block tech. Bulgarian Pravetz was a clone of Apple ][. Nothing impressive but cheap, functional, domestically produced. Can’t really be exported towards west due to blatant IP violations, but the production capabilities were good enough to produce and export hard drives.

It’s unfortunately bigger than just the suckers being suckered. These things also get pumped a lot by “early investors”, whose strategy is to get the stock immediately and sell quickly to take adventage of the initial surge. They increase the demand a lot and contribute to that surge.

I’m with you here, I’ve never done the over-and-over installation myself but since you can take different paths with Arch, I can see someone enjoy exploring those paths.

When I was a student I had a period when trying different installations was fun. Disto hopping or reinstalling can be a nice hobby.
