I’ve been thinking a lot about this since chatgpt dropped and I agree with Sam here despite the article trying to rage bait people. We simply shouldn’t protect the job market from the point of view of identity or status. We should keep an open mind of jobs and work culture could look like in the future.
Unfortunately this issue is impossible to discuss without conflating it with general economics and wealth imbalance so we’ll never have an adult discussion here. We can actually have both - review/kill/create new jobs and work cultures and address wealth imbalance but not in some single silver bullet solution.

Can’t wait to see the complete demise of Salesforce.

Oops didn’t see it when I looked up before posting

It’s not the only one but I’m just stumped by incompetence here to the point where it almost feels like malice.

As someone already pointed out it’s a lost game regardless of platform as long as closed source software is used on any machine anywhere it’s fundamentally unsafe. Black market operators like Israel’s Pegasus have been selling ios day 0 exploits for years and there are probably hundreds that exist out there for every single platform.
The good part is that these rare exploits will not be used on you because they are too valuable the bad part is that the only way against them is full system transparency which is not happening anytime soon.

Unpopular opinion but this will not as bad as housing bubble and we’re way past bubbles actually popping in contemporary economy. Even China corrected for its massive ghost city housing bubble just recently and that was actually worse than ai tech overvaluation.

Also caught multiple times for making shit up and Trump supporter btw true grifter

How do you think these numbers are calculated? Come on share your wisdom

Tax payer’s money 💸

How’s that working out? 🙈

Yeah I’ve trying to get away from Spotify for years. I still pay for Tidal and yt music too but Spotify service is unmatched by anything out there. It’s not even close.

I worked with many high level American corporate workers and they legitimately think they can outsmart and take advantage of any situation and they often actually do. Nexstar and Sinclair just thought they can play trump to cash in a quick quid pro quo and nobody will notice and severely miscalculated - suits them right and hopefully they get punished hard now.

The piracy service still sucks compared to Spotify.

As soon as I need to subscribe to multiple services to find my music I’m going back to piracy. Fuck that anti consumer shit.

Nope. Cloudflare use a complex set of fingerprinting tools that determine security scores. It’s literally social credit system for web user agents and the site admits have little control over that.

I do it as a security measure for private institutions and everyone involved has signed contracts. It’s not on the public web.

This has been the case for years. I develop fingerprinting services so AMA but it’s basically a long lost battle and browser are beyond the point of saving without a major resolution taking place.
The only way to resist effective fingerprint is to disable Javascript in its entirity and use a shared connection pool like wireguard VPN or TOR. Period. Nothing else works.
Weird take.
