9 days agoAs someone who works in emergency services, I can assure you that it is worthwhile. I’ve commented on other threads how many of our 911 agencies allow and/or even encourage dispatchers to use OSM as a tool to facilitate geolocating a caller, providing directions to responders in the field, and improving situational awareness. And that all comes as a result of the high quality and rich data that’s being contributed to OSM.
As many paramedics and CPR instructors have repeated “can’t be deader than dead”.
