Absolutely. This is the kind of force that a united resistance won’t even flinch at. They will get worse. It should be your goal to get them to be worse. The more desperate and frantic they get to try to put you down, the more that tells you that you’re winning. Authoritarians will never choose to stop fighting, ever. The cruelty is the point. Authoritarians can only win when people stop fighting, and their viciousness is intended specifically to make you stop. Comply or resist. Those are your choices, as stark as they are.
