Every cycle. Every fucking cycle. Before the primary: “We need someone ELECTABLE. Not someone good.” After the primary: “The time to have a problem with this racist, transphobic, corporate dick sucking bag of hateorade was BEFORE the primary. It’s your civic duty to vote for this blue piece of trash now!”

Cuomo would have been on your list of Dems that pretend to be progressive if Mamdani had not stepped in. Trump’s endorsement of the false progressive should tell you all you need to know about that crowd.
We’re not even at the primaries and here you are with the “yeah, he’s transphobic and would murder unsheltered people for spot if no one was looking, but YOU MUST VOTE NEWSOM IF YOU ARE NOT A REPUBLICAN.
Fuck Newsom and fuck the “blue no matter who” crowd that shits on actual progress.

“Have a racist lady with more publicity than sense screech at you about deportation.”
That’s what the purple one is for.
I think is there for the people who want to be supportive but are not marginalized. They can fight the good fight too.

deploying California’s National Guard and California Volunteers to strengthen food distribution and invest $80 million to keep food banks stocked.
The botany of desire is a fun book written on the subject. Michael Pollan is not a scientist though, he’s a science and environmental journalist and Harvard professor.

They occasionally sell the Brussels sprouts on the stalk like that at the farmers market. I feel like some kind of vegetable wizard walking around with it.
Brussels sprouts, pineapple, asparagus, rice, peanuts, chocolate.
Same with nuts. Botanically, not a thing.
Some of us thirst for science and sparkles.
