Not just innuendos but themes that are more mature than we would associate with children. Not only for the parents accompanying their kids but good writing makes it possible to teach a young audience about otherwise difficult topics. Kung Fu Panda 2 deals with a whole genocide, for example. The Hunchback of Notre Dame had all that about religious fanatism and the deliberate racial persecution of a certain group of people. Thinking back on it, 101 Dalmatians had a woman chasing puppies to make a coat out of puppies. Innuendos are funny if you look back at them as an adult but that’s also what makes movies timeless and rewatchable even after aging out of the main target group.

So many pick-mes among women who vote like this. They think they are different and will be seen as “one of the good ones” with special rights to be part of the “cool kid in-group” while the other side just thinks of them as useful idiots.

If you get told to shut up enough times you get the “Are you shy? Why do you never talk about yourself or what you like?” achievement.

Yup. We were born just in time to see the world around us crumble from idiocy and vileness. It’s happening everywhere and looking at the newsat this point is just… exhausting. You are told to dustract yourself and find community - which is great! - but THIS is still the reality we are moving towards.

Yup, SO many dems are willing to sacrifice minorities either out of genuine phobia or to appease and win some voters on the right. I know that the wish for ‘absolute moral purity’ can mess up SO MUCH in politics, especially for dems during elections as far as I have seen. Trans people make up such a small percentage of the population and are ALREADY victimized ridiculously more than they commit any crimes or moral failings and these people just feed into the deliberate misinformation campaign of “violent trans shooters”.

I’ve heard some of what they subjected him to… after everything he had done for them he was treated like a ‘useful idiot’ and then a pest. Abysmal. That’s their plan for trans people too - an active and passive genocide (outright killing them or pushing them to commit). I hate the state of the world right now.

Thanks for the write-up. Forcefully stopping someone’s medical treatment (especially with effects as strong as HRT) already sounded terrible in theory but these side effects and the deliberate intention of torture are scary and horrible as fuck. And yet, the administration and its supporters claim to be “moral”… bunch of ghouls.
