I’ve been in the field since 2019, and I’ve never once yeeted a child or felt the urge to. The real truth is it is a field that you need the correct temperament for. The only thing I dislike about my day is the obnoxious adults and their drama.

I have one on my current caseload like this. Not out of any kind of cruelty. Just high impact deficits. I wouldn’t say unhinged, just not aware.

How sad, she was doing her job here. It is a very hard and underpaid field, and most people never think of it. May she rest in peace.

I have become worried I’ll need to defend myself against violent republicans because they are always talking about and actively hurting others.
