If you get the chance, give matos mango beer a shot, it rips. Made out in Broome, WA and tastes like a Weis bar. Their ginger beer is a refreshing too!

Generally, look for stuff that’s independent - there’s a label on most indi tins. Our corporate, mass market stuff is evil and piss water (it’s good because it’s OUR piss water and we have a lot of fond memories attached, not because it’s good)

As an Australian who was periphery to the craft beer boom of the 2010s - you never know in the moment, but you can certainly clock it in retrospect.
