i think there was an idea at bethesda to have the spouse be a companion in the base game, that would have been interesting. ill have to see if that mod is on console and try it out sometime

It was a companion from a mod expansion pack, because 1) he was gay, and because 2) he said, just the sweetest things constantly. In fact, that might’ve been my most favorite thing about the game: the fact that you could have same-sex relationships with pretty much any companion you met in the game. (although this dynamic started with fallout 3 and carried on with fallout new Vegas)

      Three cheers for Bethesda 🏳️‍🌈

Who is that crazy guy? Who was the boss of Nuka World? Yeah, had a “relationship” with him too. had a fun time, imagining that voice actor recording all of those lines (“ I never imagined having these thoughts, but it feels so right!”)… yeah, it was fun, making him my husband, lol. So loving. So tender. He cared. 😘😝

Fallout 4 was really about the exploration and discovery of a new world and a new self as much as it was about anything else

Yes, it was definitely Gage I was thinking about. He turned out to be deeper and more interesting than one would’ve thought. too bad he wasn’t very well developed.

Romancing Preston Garvey was kind of boring… just like everything else about him. More shallow and less interesting than one would’ve thought. completely 2-dimensional.
