He doesn’t understand it nor it’s risks, he just knows the people bribing him care a LOT about it. He wants to rename everything himself so that he can try to leave a legacy. He knows he is old and won’t be here for too much longer.
Hopefully we can get a new congress that actually does something about him renaming things that have been named for centuries.
