I made a couple of small errors but dammit I did it. I bought it for my birthday almost a month ago, to see if I had the dexterity in my addled hands and brain, and the answer is, I do!

No art pictures on these, I just built a predesigned wooden model kit, no real creativity, just instructions and endless dexterity rolls.

Respect, this is quite an achievement!

I got out of building models because I never figured out what to do with the results afterward… It was fun planning/building/painting stuff (I did warplanes mostly, integrated them into dioramas in the end) but once I was done they just took up space and became dust traps. Tried getting into Warhammer but never had enough interested friends to make it worthwhile…

So what I’m building up to is: What are you going to do with it now?

These things in particular are meant to serve as book shelf ends/spacers/ organizers to help keep things on your shelf upright. If your bookshelf is already full then I guess it wouldn’t have much use unless you remove objects.

I’ve recently gotten into a war game called gaslands, uses hot wheels scale cars for units. Lots of fun customizing my team! And it’s really cheap unlike Warhammer minis.

Shit that looks really cool. My father in law has a collection of like +500 hot wheels, I bet he’d be down to give it a go.
