Seconding it. When I’m really out of shape it can take a few weeks for me to start feeling better, but it always happens and I kick myself for letting myself get out of shape and miserable.
Anyone who thinks they’re the exception do it at a reasonable pace and suck it up for a month. If you hate the activity but like how you feel when you aren’t doing it, try a different one. Running sucked for me, but it turns out once I’m in proper shape I love being on a bicycle.
