This is simply wrong, sorry. Judaism is a religion, but Jews are also an ethnic group. Islam is one of the world’s largest religions and it is not a monolith. There are multiple sects of Islam, with two major branches (shia and sunni) and they have very, very different perspectives and laws. This is like saying that unless people are Christian Fundamentalists and follow the Bible’s teachings word for word they aren’t real Christians.
