People have also been shot while being robbed.
Idk man, doesn’t seem like good logic. You label him a robber because he says he’s a robber. At the end of the day, he’s a criminal so how can you assume he’s telling the truth? He’s already willing to break the law. So you can’t really infer he’s not a murderer.

Well, one, you just turned robbery into murder.
Two, a robber is more interested in your possessions/money.
Three, a dead person can’t give you stuff on demand.
