I think their naming leaves a lot to be desired :)

Pulled the CC data from downsub, asked AI to summarize, then reviewed the CC to make sure it was accurate.
It’s mostly fluff centered around data about a couple of new packs and claimed ranges.
20 kWh Pack
30 kWh Solid‑State Pack
Claims to be largest motorcycle battery of its kind
SO they’re decently large, can charge quickly, I’d be a bit surprised if they were getting those actual ranges in real-world scenarios.

Yeah the cap they introduced is damning. They just cut it back a touch… Oh, if you want to play a lot, you have to pay just a little bit more. It wasn’t enough to make them bank or pay for 15 more hours of server costs; it was a toe in the water to gauge the community’s appetite to pay more for less.

That’s indeed where they’re headed. I was just clarifying what the service was. I wouldn’t pay for the service. I buy/play what I can run. When I do buy a game, I try to move toward non DRM titles, if I do buy a drm title and there’s a stripped version, i’ll always tuck it away in case steam ever loses their mind.

You sign into it, they run the game on their machine, and give you a magically low-latency connection to that server.
They just got it working reasonably well for most users.
Of course, they also just announced hour caps for usage and extra charges in blocks of 15 hours.
I’ve love to have private alpr’s in my neighborhood. We’ve had mailbox thefts and people driving around breaking into cars, even had car stolen. These guys are changing their plates regularly, but it would be super cool to at least get a neighborhood wide alert if someone who’s done done shit has rentered our neighborhood. I’m just not keen on giving that data to 3rd parties lock stock and barrel
