I think it was some Indian specific subreddits

Anyone see any Reddit posts on this? That site is becoming more and more unhinged. Front page is fine for the most part, but some of the other posts about this event that are not too far from the front page are just filled with islamaphobia. I was so lost as to how this is even related to religion until I realized that it’s a bunch of right wing Indian centric accounts. So just idiots fueled by propaganda just spreading more hate.

This is reason number #42 why Lemmy > Reddit. The amount of posts about celebrity opinions on random subjects is staggering, then months later that celebrity is in some controversy and Reddit comments are shocked.

I’m less bothered by that person not knowing and way more bothered by them just being so confidently incorrect. Doesn’t take long to just look it up yourself. Unless the whole post was an educational setup?
