I don’t think it’s making it about the white guy to honor his actions decades later. Or even a few years later.
He may not have faced oppression for his race or gender, but he did put himself aside for a greater cause and that is commendable. Sounds like a pretty good role model, in fact.
I’ve seen the photo without knowing the much you it, so thank you for sharing.

My physical therapist’s office has a lady in the Philippines do the check-ins remotely. Maybe we should look more toward that sort of thing. An MA could remotely ask about symptoms, for example, and it would be easy enough to have people take their own temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure.

“In recent years”? Russians “falling” from windows has been a joke for decades.

There isn’t any pathogen.

“Sorry, I need to poop. For the next four hours.”

Slaves have become very expensive. Pay more for rock.
If that’s your goal, you may want to study which communication methods have proven to be effectively inspiring in past political movements. Because I’m pretty sure “there’s no winning” is not among them.
Along with the printed out search histories were summaries of the items that were viewed.
Remember how, I think just two days ago, it came out that there was an email referencing a 9-year-old Brazilian girl? And the administration’s response was that it was obviously a typo and it was a 19-year-old girl (nevermind that other emails reference 10-, 11-year-olds)?
The “summary” of that email was an exact quote of the line with the 9-year-old girl except edited to say 19. I haven’t seen this mentioned by anybody else, but you can see it in a photo from at least one article that was released earlier today about Bondi having Pramila Jayapal’s search history.
They’re not even honest to themselves.
I’m not a fan of repeating comments, but my last one seems better here:
Her testimony reminded me of one of my favorite movies.

Bongino was. Scapegoats have value.

He should be played by someone bald, ugly, and obese, just like he is.

He’s been Bezos since he was something like four or five years old.

There are growing concerns that the DHS effort is more about creating fear and less about successfully stripping citizenship. Even if Americans swept up in investigations aren’t prosecuted or convicted, the process takes a financial and emotional toll; they’d have to hire lawyers and produce documents.
Margy O’Herron, a senior fellow in the liberty and national security program at the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School, said the mere threat of denaturalization creates real terror.
“Citizens are afraid that if they do or say something the government doesn’t like — even if those things are lawful and protected by the Constitution — they will be a target,” she said.
Sounds likely to me.
I assume children born of foreign military members stationed in the country don’t qualify for German citizenship?
Being stateless tends not to work out so well. Other countries don’t suddenly decide to offer citizenship to those in need.
I mostly agree, but it has never been fashionable to “bash” Europe in the US and it largely still isn’t.
