Don’t buy American… or Israeli.

Not surprising at all. I work in IT and security is by and large reactionary and based on scans that are often rudimentary. As far as training devs on good security practices there’s next to nothing. You learn from getting your hand slapped or you don’t learn at all.

Have a fucking spine.
“Targeting civil infrastructure is a war crime… we destroyed civilian infrastructure”

And who’s to say (again, not an expert on autism) that additional connections would override existing bad connections or not make more bad connections? My son has congenital heart disease and I’m under no delusion that pumping him with stem cells would suddenly correct an organ that wasn’t properly formed at birth.

Drones, especially if AI controlled, aren’t humans, so they can’t commit murder. I’d rather be approached by something with at least a slight fear of repercussions or the ability to feel guilt.

Stopped mid laugh because it’s just too fucking close to reality. 😮💨

With AI, so no-body is to blame.

They better. How the fuck is this better than chem trails?

The only benefits I see so far from AI are that we can avoid digging through search results (at the risk of bad answers) and make some killer hentai. And if those things aren’t worth the inflated RAM and GPU prices, lower and water air quality, acceleration of climate change, CSAM, political manipulation, assisted suicides, massive layoffs, and scholastic dishonesty then maybe you should do better than, “It’s a Chinese covert op!”

And is there any evidence that stem cells cross the blood brain barrier? I’m guessing (IANAD) they don’t and the “doctors” are actually counting on it protecting kids, because if they inject a kid and they shortly after have an aneurism or clot or whatever then the grift is over.
Doing a brief search, this paper suggests the cells don’t pass the BBB or at least it can be hard to get the stem cells not to latch on to the wrong thing: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9976985/

Meanwhile AI pulls this stuff there’s next to no investigation and the family gets to fight their way through civil court (if they aren’t forced into arbitration).
Edit: Didn’t catch the first time this was an in-person encounter, not her giving commands over video chat.

Oh, good. One of the few religions that isn’t predicated on making all non-members lives miserable.

I mean, Russia already owns the UK. You’re passed the enemy stage I’d say.

Defeating Iran every other week has gotta be really embarrassing for them.

What? No Tik-Tok level shitfit from Trump?

Your responsibility as a parent is to make a best effort to protect your children. Giving them a phone with a camera, microphone, and unrestricted access to the whole damn internet is like handing them a loaded gun. Stop IDing everyone and fine or lock up neglectful parents.

Maybe just start a rumor (as if this hasn’t happened) that people are wearing glasses around kids in swimsuits to train kiddie AI models.

Yup. Cost for copilot at my work just went up and the tone changed from, “Use it everywhere!” to, “Use it where it makes sense.” I mean, that should’ve always been the guidance but as usual the vendors gave them a good show with their shiny new tech, execs came in their pants, and the engineers were expected to make magic happen.

Schofield described one meeting in which a DOGE official revealed the goal of such a cruel plan: to make immigrants so miserable that they would self-deport or try to visit a Social Security office, where they could be arrested.
Not sure I follow how that works. Is he referring to naturalized citizens?
AntiX Linux has been the most efficient distro on my netbook. You gotta be okay without systemd though. For the most part I didn’t need it but some things are highly dependent on systemd to work.
WattOS was good too but AFAIK it’s not actually open source so I couldn’t trust it.
